Christmas Day!

Having Christmas with two boys this year was so much fun! We loved being with family once again and had a blast being able to spend so much time out in Utah before Tay started school again in Jan.

Bridger especially made it fun because he loved everything about Christmas! He loved playing with my little nativity and was constantly saying "Cheezus, Mawee, and Tosuph" (Jesus, Mary, and Joseph). He also loves saying, Ho Ho Ho for anything Santa that he sees. He also loves Nutcrackers and will mimic them opening and closing their mouths.

He loves trains! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Weight!

And last but not least, we were so excited to see Connor and Amber before we left and cherished those two days to spend with them!

Christmas Eve

Every year our friends, the Maughan family, present a kindness award to someone who lives an exemplary life. This year they gave it to my parents and it was really neat to see them come and present it. I also am grateful for the great examples that my parents are and love them so much!

It was fun for Bridger and Mason to get to know Jake a little better since we never get to see him (he lives in Chicago). We love you Jake and miss you already!

This is how my pictures go a lot of the time whenever I try to get them to sit by each other.

The usual Christmas Eve Arby's dinner...don't we all love family traditions!

It was so cute to see Brady and Bridger "help" decorate the gingerbread house...let's just say there was a lot of candy eaten in the process ;)

...I even got a shot of one of the candy's Bridger contributed to the house!

We split up in teams to decorate the houses and there's lots of kids on both sides so it's funny that there's hardly ever any space left on the house. That's the best way to decorate a gingerbread house.

The Christmas Party with my Grandpa Richards had to be at a Church this year because we've grown in numbers so much! It was like we had our own ward party there were so many people there. I love having a big family and it was so fun to see everyone!

We went out in early December to take some Christmas family pictures... It was a beautiful day and had to get out. It was so nice, we did it in a total of fifteen minutes! That's the way we do pictures.

Then we came home and took some pictures of the boys by the tree. So cute!

It was so funny, it was like Bridger knew what to do to pose for the camera...notice how it looks like he is decorating the tree haha...

We went to see the Christmas lights at the Oregon zoo that they do every year and it was pretty impressive. I kept thinking I was on temple square back in Utah, but then I'd see animals haha...

Ho Ho Ho...

Ho Ho Ho...Bridger's new favorite words. He absolutely loves Santa and anything Santa. It's adorable. and Mason is just taking it all in haha.

Even though the Christmas party was fun, I'm glad it's over haha. I was in charge of all the decor and the program which is no small feat since I've been in the ward for only three months and have two other callings. I ended up loving the experience though because it helped me to get to know so many of the members here and I got a lot of help setting everything up and taking it all down. Thanks Columbia Ward for all your help and support!

Our programs' theme: "A Gift to All the World"...we had numbers in Italian (above from the Elders), Hawaiian, Norwegian, Old English, Bulgarian, Spanish, and German. It ended up coming together really well.

Norwegian (We sang this with the Rust family who were all good sports to sing this with us)

Bulgarian number: Silent Night from the Nordstroms

Garrett, Tommy, and Christine

German number: Still Still Still by the ward choir. It was beautiful

Old English: What Child is This? from Chris Harris

...and ending the program was Bishop Card who helped tie it all together with some spiritual thoughts on the Savior, the miracle of His birth, and His sacrifice to all the world.

Mt. Hood

Around the end of October we went to Mt. Hood while the Vincents were visiting and I'm so far behind on blogging that I'm just now posting about it. It was a beautiful day so we stopped to take some pictures too...

you know that's right...star wars! We had so much fun this Halloween being the Star Wars family: Luke, Princess Leia, Ewok, and Little Yoda.

Our amazing friends, Kekoa and Alyssa (and Lulu :) came up to spend the weekend with us from Utah. We had so much fun with them (more pics to come) and they were so good to take all these pictures for us and the other families that were there. Rarrrrr!

The Cards (um I mean the Adams family) put together a wonderful party and we had lots of fun!

Pumpkins and Boys

We went to a pumpkin patch on Suavie Island, Oregon and had so much fun! Lots of pumpkins and lots of room for Bridger to just run around and have a good time.

The morning started a little chilly so we all bundled up but just an hour or so later, it was a perfect sunny warm day.

We went with the Harris family... Todd Harris was Tay's mission companion and it's so fun to have them so close.

Funny Moments

We were over at Christine and Garrett's place and they just gave Tommy a bath. Moments later we found that Bridger snuck into the tub enjoying a little bath as well. We all had a good laugh.

Hopefully this doesn't gross anyone out, but it's reality...let's just say I have been producing a lot of milk and here is my treasure trove. It literally takes up the whole freezer haha.

Bridger sometimes wishes he was a baby again...they are so cute together :)

You may be a little concerned for Bridger in first looking at this picture, but don't worry, he's just fine...he is looking through the little cracks between the boards to watch the kids that live below us playing with their legos. It's adorable and it's awesome for me because it occupies a lot of his time.

We've mostly had sunny days, but just the last couple of weeks had more rain and we got Bridger some super cute matching rain boots and rain jacket. We are gearing up for the Oregon rain!

While Tay's family was in town we also went to Blue Lake where they have a pretty lake and also some fun water fountains. Sadly the lake doesn't allow children younger than five years but we had plenty of fun playing in the fountains.

We went to Cannon Beach while Tay's family was in town and even though the water was a little cold, it was a beautiful sunny day and we all had a good time...Bridger especially loved playing in the ocean for his first time!

Here are the new furniture pieces that Taylor made for me in September. It took him about a week or so and wow can I say he is so talented! And speaking of talented, he didn't even follow any instructions but made up his own plans!

Photo Wall

We've been busy lately with lots of fun projects so more future posts to come but here's one for now...my photo wall. I didn't like these bland pantry cupboards that are taking up half of the kitchen so I decided to turn them into a work of art. I had a lot of fun with this project and Taylor of course was again a great help.

We first covered them with butcher paper (I am renting and don't want to ruin anything of course). We then mod podged a ton of black and white family pictures onto the top half. At first I was going to do the whole thing, but Bridger kept trying to peel the pictures off haha. So plan B turned out to be way better in the end...

...Chalkboard paint! We put it on the lower half for Bridger to draw to his heart's content and we can write fun messages on it to each other as well :)

I love our photo wall! It's a fun way to keep many memories close by and I catch myself often just staring at it as I'm eating my cereal or whatever else I'm doing while sitting at the kitchen table.

Last but not least we put up a little saying in Norwegian (where Tay served his mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). Can you guess what it says? If you guess Families are Forever you are wrong haha (the usual guess). It says, "Because two people fell in love"...

Wahoo Zoo!

The problem with taking way more pictures than is humanly possible, is that it's hard to choose which ones to put on the blog...therefore lots n lots o pictures :) Enjoy our trips to the zoo in Utah (before we moved of course) and here in Portland...

We went with lots of family and had a blast. We were practically a zoo within a zoo. Bridger LOVED seeing all the animals! His first time to the zoo... and Mason's first too of course, but he mostly slept.

Labor Day Fun

Happy Labor Day everyone! We had a fun labor day weekend starting with a fun hike up to Punchbowl falls. It was gorgeous! We were so happy to do it with Christine and Garrett and little cute Tommy as well. Even though all the boys ended up getting pretty tired, we all had a good time enjoying the beautiful weather and surroundings. Mason and Tommy both fell asleep for a little while too. Bridger was a trooper, even though he was tired, he sang (not too many recognizable words, but super cute jibberish in a sweet sing songy voice :) most of the way back which was quite entertaining.

There was a ton of these trees covered in lush green moss and it was so pretty (you can't tell too well from the picture).

Tay was originally holding Bridger and I was carrying Mason but for some reason it killed my back and when we switched I felt ten times better carrying Bridger (even though he was heavier the weight was more on my hips instead of back).

Musing Moments

It's a rare treat when I feel like actually writing something on my blog instead of just posting pictures and labeling them. So here it goes...I guess I better take advantage of it while it lasts. I have been a busy momma the past two years with baby number one...finding out I'm pregnant with baby number two and already 5 months into it haha...having baby number two...moving to Oregon and now here we are settled in and I feel like I'm finally able to breath a little. I have been so grateful for so many (especially my family) who have been so loving and supportive this past year. Being pregnant with a little baby was not easy...but I especially wanted to share how loving and supportive my hubbie has been. I wouldn't have been able to do this with out him. He has been such a trooper...helping with Bridger all the time (early mornings, middle of the night, etc.), soothing my crazy pregnant mood swings, making me laugh, helping me with all my crazy crafts (and I craft a lot while I'm pregnant!), and still finding the time to just enjoy life every day. He has been my rock and an amazing example of patience and faith. I am so grateful for him and just needed everyone to know how amazing this man really is. I mean really what a catch. I am the luckiest woman.

Don't Drink the Water

We decided to take a little trip to down town Portlandia and see what was going on there. We had about an hour or so to kill before we needed to get back and put the little boys down for their naps. We found this neat riverside park and decided to stroll along it. Right now Bridger will get pretty my hysterical over his love for water so we thought that it would be a good idea... it turned out to be an incredible idea because we came across this fountain garden. We didn't bring any swimwear for him and our amazing parenting kicked in to say "what the heck lets just let him run amok". He absolutely L-O-V-E'ed it. Here is some video that we captured.

He was running and playing and sipping it was great... great until we saw a sign that says do not drink the water it could be contaminated with human and animal waste like pool water. Oopsie doo. Kids drink POOl water all the time right? Bridger is doing fine. Bad Water 1 Bad Parents 0.

Seeing the Sights

While my mom was still in town helping us get settled we went to a few places around Portland to get familiar with the sights... First up: Multnomah falls is gorgeous and a fun hike. We did it last year while we visited Christine and Garrett so it was fun to come back again and this time with my mom (and Mason too :).

The BIG move!

Moving was a lot of work but now that we are all settled in up here in Portland, Oregon, it seemed to have all flown by. A big thanks to everyone that helped us watch the kids (mom), help pack, load (thanks Colton and Dad!), drive cars (Debbie and Grandma) and get on our way! Not to mention all the unpacking as well (thanks to all the neighborhood kids too :) We love and appreciate you all!

What a sweet memory! Mason was blessed in my parents home and it turned out to be such a neat experience to be in such a little intimate setting surrounded by close family and friends. Blessing Mason there was such a tender experience and we are so grateful to all who came to be a part of it with us. We love you all and hope to share in many future memories with you.

Mason we are so grateful for you and couldn't imagine our lives without you!

Taylor gave such a sweet inspired blessing and I'm so grateful for him in my life. What a great father!

Lake Powell!

Lake Powell...a beautiful nice relaxing place...ok so not really relaxing now that we have two little ones. In fact, it was pretty tough to be honest, but if you ask me it was worth it. Lake Powell has always been a very nostalgic place for me and I want my kids to feel the same about it someday. Even though Bridger won't remember this trip, it was fun to have him there.

We set up our family tent and slept there to get away from all my family so Bridger would sleep well (which only worked some of the time). It was fun to have and made me excited for other camping adventures with the fam.

Bridger LOVED being on the boat...he loved watching the water sports as well as looking around at the cliffs and water. He was pretty cute watching Tay and I ski or wake surf, etc. because he was always making sure he could see us after we'd fall.

OH how we love our little Mason! He has been such a great baby and so much fun to have in our family! I can't believe one month has already flown by! Happy one month Mason!

He has smiled so much! Granted they are all still while he is asleep but I can tell he is going to be another happy boy :)

I had to add this picture because it was right before he peed all over Alyssa! Whoops! We were lucky to have Alyssa Vincent take our newborn photos again (thanks Alyssa!).

Another BIRTH day! Baby boy #2 has arrived!

So here I am before the baby came. Are you ready for another birth story? Well if you are then keep reading and if not, just skip along and look at all the pics because my boys are super cute! :)

I should start from Wednesday (May 11th) at my doctors apt. where my doctor checked to see if I was progressing and turns out I was dilated at a 4 and 70% effaced. My doctor jokingly (but not really joking) told me she wanted me to wait until Monday to have the baby since she would be out of town for the weekend. Well turns out that Sunday night (May 15th) I started getting contractions that were pretty frequent. (It must have been the long walks I took all weekend and a little bit of jumping or more accurately what I like to call "moon walking" on the tramp earlier that day that helped get it going :) I was getting the contractions every 3-5 minutes about a minute or so long. We were in the middle of a movie and so I told Tay lets wait until the end of the movie just to be sure....and yep they kept getting stronger so we went to the hospital (around 11pm or so). The hospital admitted me and we got all set up in a delivery room. The nurses checked me and I was still dilated at a 4. My doctor was still out of town so our backup was Dr. Powers (pic below) ...cool name eh? He came and met me and we decided to see how the contractions went for a while longer and to see if I would continue to dilate. Well even though my contractions were getting really strong, I wasn't changing much and I was super tired so they gave me a little bit of morphine around 3am to help me sleep. Around 7am they came and checked me and my contractions due to the morphine really decreased. They then put me on pitocin to help get my contractions going again....and once again they got really strong...fun! The nurse checked me though and I had a little bit of progression to a 5 and a half and 100% effaced. Not much, but it was enough for them to decide to break my water. I decided I wanted an epidural and just in time too. I got the epidural around 11:45, they broke my water at 12pm, and by 12:20 I was fully dilated and ready to start pushing. ...

I could still feel and move my legs but numb otherwise so it was perfect. They had me start pushing around 12:32 and by 12:35 or three contractions later our healthy baby boy was born. 3 whole minutes!...he beat Bridger by 2 minutes and I thought Bridger was fast!

Mason Colton Weight!

7lbs. 8oz. 19 inches!

We are so happy to have this special addition to our family and as you can see from the pictures below, Bridger is excited/confused about having a baby brother :)

Bridger loves giving Mason kisses! It's so cute (see one of the pics above). Since we've brought him home, I think he's given him close to 100 kisses by now. He will be such a good big brother.

Thanks Taylor for giving me beautiful babies! I knew it when I saw your childhood home videos and what a cute kid you were :)

Look at all that dark hair! Bridger's hair was dark too, but not quite as dark and not quite as much either.

Something that surprised me was how little Mason seemed to me. Bridger is just getting so big now! Having another baby has been such a joy and I'm so grateful to be Bridger and Mason's mother.

First Things First!

Now that we have two little boys that are born a year and 4 days apart we need to make sure that neither one gets overlooked and they can both have their special days. So here is to you Bridger boy one year older and wiser too, Happy Birthday to YOU.

All kinds of close friends made the trip up from Provo to spend this special day with us and our little monkey.

We even had family from Colorado (Amber) and Oregon (Christine and Debbie) to join in via ichat.

So our little boy has a funny little quirk where he NEEDs to eat food like a real person, well without utensils and everything. Lately he has been refusing to have food if is cut up and nicely prepared for him. Thus now we feed him a whole banana a day in thirds. Seriously I think that he eats it about as fast as I can. This video contains graphic eating so view at your own risk!

Forgive his pink bib his momma just doesn't think about the issues he may develop later in life.

Bridger was definitely new to this whole Easter thing. He slowly warmed up to it (especially as we gave him a few tastes of candy) and just looked at us like we were crazy to be so excited about it all.

...Trying to figure it all out and I think it clicked once we took the wrapper off of the chocolate egg...

Spending the Saturday before Easter with the Weight family in Brigham City.

Sunday spent with my family. Bridger playing with the other boys (Connor and Brady).

Once again just a little confused (and tired since it was time for his morning nap). He did gather some candy and put it in his basket although most of the time he stuck it in his mouth with the wrapper on. Here he's watching his older cousin, Connor, gather the candy. You can see the wheels turning in his little mind.

So cute!

Maybe next year he will be able to show his little brother how it's all supposed to work. :)

Wood Crafts

I have been having fun doing different crafts with wood...which means lots of wonderful help from my loving husband who cuts and sands all the wood for me. Here are some Christmas stocking hangers with our initials on them...

This Valentines craft was a fun surprise from my sister. When she came out to visit she brought this for us to do. The wood was already cut out we just had to mod podge some cute paper on and put it all together.

Now this one was my favorite and Tay did an awesome job with cutting out the wood. I just designed the letters and drew them on some wood in pencil and Tay cut them all out for me.

Happy Easter! (also mod podged some really cute paper on...mod podge is a good friend of mine :)

...and another post to come... Tay is making us a king size bed! I'm grateful to have a husband who loves wood work and helping me with crafts and fun projects for our house etc.

Snow or Shine

Bridger has had an obsession with being outside. I guess you could say he gets it from his parents. If he's not outside, he's longingly looking outside...hoping and waiting for when we can go out.

Since lately we've had some pretty snowy days, we've gone out those days too. He loves playing in the snow.

Sometimes he likes to taste it too :)

We've especially been enjoying the sunny days and Bridger absolutely loves every minute of it!

The whole month of March was dedicated to this...an ABC quiet book! Something I've been wanting to make for a long time. It was fun to have help from Tay and my mother in law also made the cover (last picture) which turned out awesome. My sister, Amber also made one with me and we had lots of fun figuring out what we wanted for each letter.

A: Animals (finger puppets :)

B: Buckle C: Clock (hands move)

D: Dolls (lots of fun matching outfits to snap on the dolls)

E: Eggs (snap the matching color/texture with each egg)

F: Flowers (button on the petals)

G: Gumballs (velcro gumballs)

H: Hands (put your hands inside)

I: Ice cream (snap on the flavors)

J: Jewels (match the shape of jewel and velcro on)

K: Kite (braid the tail) L: Laces (lace the shoe)

M: Mailbox (write a note and put the flag up and down)

N: Numbers (velcro on and count or put any combo on :)

O: Ocean (move the fish back and forth)

P: Picnic (take off the basket, open, and set up the blanket and dishes)

Q: Quilt (weave in and out and button) R: Robot (move the arms/legs)

S: Seasons (snap on the season...I put on some of each one below...

T: Train (hook/unhook and move around the cars)

U: Umbrella (move the raindrops up and down) V: Vest (button vest)

W: Wheels (rotate wheels around) X: X marks the spot...

...you can take off the map and lace from each landmark following the key (landmarks can be rotated)

Matchy Matchy

Christine and Garrett and their little baby boy Thomas came out for his baby blessing and it was so fun to see them together. It gave me a little bit of a foreshadowing of what it will be like with baby boy #2.

Look how cute they are in their baby matching pjs. We had to work hard to keep Bridger from wrestling Thomas.

He gave him the sweetest kiss when he was all sad. Hopefully he will be nice and sweet with his own little baby brother. :)

Happy Ten Month Bridger and Happy 7 month to me

Being 7 months pregnant now, I have been having a hard time staying up on things. The only things I have been doing is spending time with Tay and Bridger and crafting a lot (my way of nesting :). Hopefully soon I will put up more posts, but for now I wanted to share these...

I can't believe how much Bridger is growing up and along the way he has just given us so much joy and makes us laugh daily. He is one spunky fun boy and has so much personality! As you can see from the following pictures he has many fun faces to share. Thanks again to our awesome friend photographer Alyssa Vincent

This is one of Bridger's favorite faces to make as he also makes the sound "Oh". He probably does is 50 times a day. He is very interested in everything around him.

This picture was after we took him off of the rocking chair, as you can see from below he loved it and was very content to just rock and rock...

Ok so these will be the last naked boy pictures of Bridger since he will be turning one soon, but we had to do it one more time while he was still a little baby because... well he is so darn cute naked! :)

He loves to clap and dances so cute. We will have to be better at posting video too.

Bridger is such a joy and I can't believe how much he has grown and developed in the last few months. He crawls all over the place now and climbs up on anything he can reach. He loves it too and is getting to be such a strong little guy.

He also has two teeth on the bottom! Here he is sticking his tongue out because he loves to feel his teeth. more pics of his cute teethy smile to come :)

Bridger is also so good at giving "kisses" and gives us many a day. Tay and I can't get enough of them and Bridger will go back and forth between us and give us all the kisses we want.

Sometimes Tay and I race to see who can get him first from a nap because it's so fun to see his big smiling face!

Being silly and having fun are some of Bridger's favorite things to do. He is such a happy boy and always has such a big smile on his face. We love you B-ridge!

Surprise Surprise!

So you may be wondering what this plaque is all about. Tay's sister got it as a spoof present from their Grandpa Nielson at her baby shower out here. Tay and I thought it was funny due to our lives at the moment so I had to post it.
Think about some of the events that have given you the biggest surprises in your lives. We just experienced one of those moments that could be on par with yours. Surprise surprise! Tay and I are having another baby boy! Due June 2nd! Yep I'm now 5 months pregnant and we are thrilled (and I think a little still in shock :). Bridger's face above gives a good description of how we all feel :). The funny thing is I didn't know I was pregnant until a month ago! Here's the story...

It all started on Tay's Bday (December 21st) when Tay and his Dad and brother in law, Garrett went skiing. That morning as they came to pick up Tay I asked Steve (Tay's dad) to see if I was ok...Tay's dad is an OB and I felt like I was having problems healing from having Bridger so I wanted him to check out my stomach and make sure I wasn't having muscle tissue build up or something (which is what I was thinking it was). He had me lay down and checked my tummy and said, "Are you sure you're not pregnant? It's either that or a big ovarian cyst" I was in shock and at the moment was thinking neither option sounded that great. Right after they left to go ski I ran downstairs and took a pregnancy test...yep positive! Even though it was quite the shock at that moment, I had the greatest sense of peace come over me and I knew that even though it wasn't in our plans, it was part of Heavenly Father's plan for us and that this baby was meant to come to our home at this time. I called Tay and told him and he was also very happy and seemed to know it was going to be positive (his dad told him that he was pretty sure it was a baby and he thought I was even 16 wks along....what?!). I didn't believe that I could be that far along and have no idea! Over Christmas break, we scheduled an apt. with our local OB and got an ultrasound. I was shocked to find out that I was 19 wks along! I couldn't stop laughing! We were able to find out the sex of the baby (BOY!) and everything! It was fun to see him and it made it more of a reality. He's healthy and the due date will be June 2nd! I always said I would love to have twins, who knew I was going to have Irish twins! ;) I have a feeling that Bridger and this new baby will be great friends. Tay's theory is that they were supposed to be twins but somehow on the way down either the new baby needed a potty break or Bridger played the old "look over there" and they got split up and now they are trying to be as close to twins as they can be. Hooray for baby boys!

I'm so excited for Christine's baby to come due in February. She came out for the holidays so it was fun to have a shower for her. She is having a boy...yea for baby boys and now Bridger will have a boy cousin his age on the Weight side.

This is the little baby toy we thought was a great resemblance to Bridger as a little baby :)

As always Elizabeth does an amazing job with all of the food and decorations...we did contribute the chocolate fountain though so if you want to invite us to your party we can bring it along :) yum

Bridger was such a good boy too and loves being around other people, even strangers...the only stranger I've seen make him scared is Santa...post to come with all the Christmas fun!

Before we go on to things we are grateful for...let me just say I was very nice this month to let Taylor fulfill a life long dream of his to grow out his mustache for all of November...thus Movember! He loved every minute of it too, but December 1st it was out of here. I'm still very proud of him though and the good cause Movember is dedicated too...to help raise funds for men's cancer research. It also came in very nicely :)

So much to be thankful for!

So I have a Thanksgiving post coming, but before we move on to that and on to Christmas, I wanted to post a few pics from November...

We went to the Griffins where I did a super fun craft with Megan and Tay and Bridger played with the boys (Dan, Axton, and Gabe). I'm so glad I was invited and loved doing this fall wreath.

So they got a few of the materials from a wholesale flower place, but most of them came from around Provo... up canyons and by the lake...who knew making a wreath that would be very expensive in a store ended up costing a total of 20 dollars to make?! So fun to make too!

So we finally gave Bridger a hair cut :) It was on his 6 month mark...it was sad to see some of those inches come off, but it was getting way too long on top and started looking like he had some kind of combover ;)

I have such a great husband and little boy! I feel so blessed.

So much to be thankful for!

Kokopelli Triathlon!

So this post is way overdue...We competed in this triathlon in mid September but I just got around to this. Lately everything on my blog has been centered around Bridger, but here's to celebrating our accomplishments too...

It's weird to think we will be 27 by the end of the year.

The boys started first so here I am with Bridger cheering Tay on for his swim...

Good job boys! Shane Markham and Brent Rowland also did the triathlon for their first one and did an awesome job! The Rowlands, Vincents, Thomasons, and Shane Markham came down to St. George with us and it was so much fun! I wish I had more pictures of us just around at the condo etc.

I finished 13th in my age group...I was happy with my time, especially from still not feeling the greatest in shape from baby boy.

I was tired...Tay was definitely a huge support and helped me train, etc.

Our "new apt"

We moved up to Holladay in September and live in my parents basement and have settled in nicely. I've tried to make it feel like home...

We have a few perks in that we get a walk in closet and bathroom connected to our master bedroom. More closet and storage space then our apt. in Provo. We sure miss all our friends in Provo though and try to think of reasons to go down there to see them :)

Bridger's room...I have since made curtains for his window (post to come I guess).

Ozome Family!

For some fun Halloween festivities, we had a family party on Sunday with a costume parade and chocolate fountain...which we all enjoyed :)

...especially Katelyn... and Ian...ok we all did, it just didn't show up as much on our faces

I wanted to get a few pics of our new puppy Bridger out by the pumpkins...he thought it was a special treat too

Tay made some pretty great awards for all the kids and their costumes...we were awarded "The OZome family" :)

For some earlier Halloween fun, we went to Grandpa Weights Halloween party and had fun dressing Bridger up in his cute monkey costume...so hard to decide on just one costume when he's so cute in them all right?

Lake Powell! (again)

Lake Powell in October? Yes! The weather was beautiful and it was great once again being with the fam. It was a rough start because Brig's boat didn't work at first so he drove all the way home to get Dad's boat! It was very nice of him and we ended up having a lot of fun!

Last time we came, Bridger was only a month and a half old and slept most of the time...now he's 5 months I think he had a lot more fun!

He is so smiley and happy all the time these days!

Here we are...we came with my brother Brig and his family, Aubs, Jeff and some of his friends.

So funny story...my little brother Jeff, and his two friends thought it would be fun to dig a big hole and Tay had the pleasure of then burying them in it...the funny thing is that they had so much fun doing it they then dug another hole even bigger!

Taste of Tennessee

We just got back from our visit to Ohio to see family! We also went to Tennessee where Tay's family has a cabin on beautiful Lake Norris. Here are some pics of the fun we had while there

Christine just relaxing on the dock...they are having a boy too (due in February) and we're really excited that Bridger will have a cousin boy his age on the other side of the family too!

Steve and Debbie were so kind to have us come and they take such good care of us. We had lots and lots of fun!

Tay is AWESOME to watch wakeboarding

We took Bridger swimming for the first time because the water was warm enough and he absolutely loved it! He was kicking his little legs in excitement as Tay moved him around in the water. We have ourselves a little swimmer!

Millions of Peaches, Peaches for Me

Welcome to Brigham City where once a year they have a blessed event called Peach Days...

It was last weekend and we really enjoyed walking around downtown Brigham City right after the parade, where they had lots of cute little stores. We also had fun visiting some of Tay's family up there too!

We also walked around the fair they had going but didn't go on any rides...I'm not sure if Bridger was up for any of them, but he enjoyed just looking around at all the exciting new things to see

I had some yummy peach ice cream to really get in the spirit of it all

...and of course we can't leave out the peaches...we bought a whole bushel and have been eating them ever since! They are so juicy and delicious. We have also already made 3 peach pies and eaten 2 of them. :)

Bridger is growing so much lately! The other day Tay and I were looking at some videos from when Bridger was just a newborn...I can't believe how much he has grown these past couple of months. Just look at those thighs!

He has been such a happy little guy and brought so much joy into our lives each day

I love this one... can you tell which one is Tay and which one is Bridger?

He is now loving his bumbo chair and sits in it for a much longer period of time...he is also rolling over! Yep videos to come soon :)
