Backpacking Timp

It's one thing to hike Timp, but a completely different experience of backpacking up Timp! We had so much fun and it was a perfect time to go up...the weather was beautiful! We hiked up the Timpanookee side which is a little harder of a hike, but we think it's a lot prettier, so it makes it all worth it! We hiked up and then got to the base of Timp, at Emerald Lake to camp for the night, then the next morning we summited Timp!

you can't see it very well, but there's a really pretty waterfall coming down in the back!

I didn't really know until last second Tay was taking this picture but it's a pretty view of the mountain so I added it :)
mmm...after a hard day of hiking, Raman noodles are a wonderful feast!

squishy face! definition: the face you have right when you've woken up and it looks kind of funny when you smile :)
our view of the summit from where we camped
you feel on top of the world up there!

A picture of where we camped from the summit

The very best view!

Our first Backpacking trip together!

Backpacking has always been something that I've wanted to get into...I've done it a couple times growing up and love camping etc, but now that I'm with Tay...well I've backpacked with him more than I have my whole life combined! We love it and here is our first backpacking trip together...where we camped above Stewart Falls...

Oh so nice and comfy cozy :) I forgort my sleeping pad and so Tay was so nice and let me use his...I slept so good that night, but I can't really say the same about Tay...

Beautiful view and we were the only ones there, it was like we had the whole mountain to ourselves

peekaboo!
