Merry Christmas from our house to your house...

Our first Christmas together as a married couple! So good to be with each other and with both families. Tay's parents were so nice to fly into Utah from Ohio to be with all the kids. They stayed with Nick and Elizabeth in Holladay which is only 5 minutes away from my parents house (talk about very convenient!). So we were able to pop back and forth from family to family and enjoy being with everyone this Christmas...

Visiting around the Christmas tree is one of my fondest memories of Christmas time
Look how big they are getting!
Ian chugging egg nog (he LOVES it!)

Ole faithful dad, getting arby's for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner :)

A tradition of decorating Christmas sugar cookies

Another tradition: decorating gingerbread houses in two groups

Cute Cute and Cute!

The Weight woman

Christine and Garrett in their fun onesies!
Tay getting "tickeled" by all the girls!

I had so much fun decorating the tree! Our very own Christmas tree covered in red and gold :)

Classic Colton Christmas with candlelight Arby's. Don't we all love tradition? :)

Birthday Girl

Such a great birthday! Taylor is the best husband in the world! I woke up to a trail of flower petals and hershey kisses leading to the shower where I saw two dozen roses hanging from the shower head. Then Taylor said, "I kiss the ground you walk on and shower you with flowers." Of course my heart melted, etc. but I won't go into that here. Later my mom took us out to lunch at Macoroni Grill (Becca came too since Aly had twins the night before). Also later that night we went out to dinner with Nick, Elizabeth, Christine, and Garrett to Ottavios Italiano Restarante! Then back to our place for ice cream cake and presents...it was a wonderful day! I love you Tay!

Feeling the Christmas Spirit

What a wonderful way to start off the Christmas season! We went to the First Presidency Devotional and it was a great way to remember from the start what Christmas is all about. This is our first Christmas together and we are excited for the whole season!

Gingerbread time!

We made gingerbread houses over at Broc and Jamie Nowell's place and Christine and Garrett came too (far right).

Our gingerbread house was the white house...sadly I didn't get a picture of it up close until the roof collapsed...

Thanksgiving in St. George

all my cute nieces having fun with the dress-ups!

So many people to be grateful for! We love our family! We spent Thanksgiving in St. George and had two big dinners...one on Sunday for those who couldn't come down and then another in St. George! Good to be with the family! (oh and by the way you may be wondering what is going on with all those Ute fans? well, my family is about half for the U and half for the Y... of course Brig, Aly, and all the kids had to show off their sweatshirts the day after the big game...oh well, we'll get them next year! Oh and a really cute video from the weekend too...
