Little Red Riding Hood Bike Race

The largest women's bike race in the states...and so much fun! I competed in the 50 miler and Tay was my biggest fan! He was also my trainer and gave me great support. Because of his amazing training skills I got first place in the 50 miler in 2:39!

2477 baby!
Anne Earl and I...I had no idea she was going to race too and it was so fun to see her! We work in the temple together on Wednesdays :)
Here I am getting to the starting line...

Coming in with the first purple (50 mile) bib number! At the end it was so fun when they gave us a little strawberry lemonade drink with a little umbrella in it and a lei on our neck.

Aloha!
They had a fun expo, a luau the night before, and of course with tons of women, they had mounds of wonderful food!
Tay was a good sport...while I was riding, he was waiting...napping...reading...and of course there to greet me at the finish line. What a great husband!

  5. Cami! I was riding too! Although we only made it part way into the 68 miles we signed up for when the girl I was riding with fell and and broke her arm. Spent the rest of the race in the ER. But it was still way fun! We should all do it together next year!
